Dance Recital FAQ
Q: How long have you been videotaping dance shows?
A: Six years.
Q: Do you attend rehearsals and why?
A: Yes and we believe it is necessary. We use two high definition cameras during rehearsals, one to record the rehearsal
for viewing afterwards, and one to interview dancers, teachers, and parents to use in the final product.
The rehearsal also gives us a time to check out our audio within your venue.
Q: Where do you locate your camcorder for taping?
A: This decision differs with each dance companies preference. Some prefer to view the dance recital video
from cameras behind the audience. Others prefer a closer view but with the compromise of sharper angles.
Every dance company is different and with the use of up to four camcorders we try and meet the customers needs.
Q: How do you prepare for the Recital?
A: Depending on your venue we can use as many as four High Definition camcorders to capture the sights
and sound of your recital.
Q: What makes your videos stand out?
Interviews and photo montages. We try and ad short interviews with dancers, parents, and teachers to enhance the final product.
Q: Our Dance Company takes photos we want included in the final DVD?
No problem. Since we started six years ago we have added photo montages from our cameras or\and from the dance company.
Q: Do you guarantee your DVD?
A: Since we started in 04 we have guaranteed that the DVD will play in your machine. If it doesn't
we encourage the parent to contact us for a solution.
In this way the Dance School does not need to worry about potential problems.
Q: Will my DVD player play Bluray?
A: No BUT many families have purchased upconverter DVD players that improve the quality of a regular DVD.
Q: Do you offer the dance show in Bluray format?
A: Recently families have purchased a bluray player or a playstation 3 (that plays Bluray Disks).
We started offering Bluray production in 2009 and will expand in 2010.
Q: What about pricing and quality?
Our pricing is competitive. Our product is superior.
Q: What is coming in the future?
A: We are always working on different methods to improve our product. For 2010 our youngest dancers
get our attention with an improved viewing experience for Mom, Dad and Grandma.
